First reported 1788 Hottingerkaart (H.J. Versfelt, De Hottinger-atlas van Noord- en Oost-Nederland. 1773-1794)
Close to its uphill sibling D50, the much more dilapidated hunebed D51 has its own shy charm. From a small grove of trees it looks out over fields at the edge of the village of Noord-Sleen.
